Founded in 1999 through Eastern Institute of Technology’s desire to have a facility that would complement their academic programme, they became the catalyst for a joint project with Napier City Council, Hastings District Council and Hawke’s Bay Regional Council.
In 2020, Pettigrew Arena expanded adding two new indoor court arenas to its premise – the Rodney Green Arenas. Now a cornerstone in our community, the Rodney Green Arenas.
Looking ahead, Rodney Green Arenas is poised to continue its legacy as a beacon of entertainment, sportsmanship, and community engagement.
